I hear and understand that, as well as my heart goes out to the individual. A lot of people say, "I am one paycheck away from being him/her". When in all actuality, you are closer than you think.
When we go back to something that God has delivered us from - as scripture describes it as a dog returning to its own vomit - we are spiritually "poor/suffering" and going back to the "trash" as well. I know I myself have experienced this - on a number of occasions. But instead of dwelling on the return to vomit, I focus on how much faster I get it back on track than the last time!
