 | Yesterday, as I watched an episode One of the "Bible" series on Netflix, it seemed like God was talking a mile a minute. |
There were so many nuggets and revelations! One thing that continued to be central was the fact that Noah, Abraham, and Sarah had some of the same emotions we face today, especially FEAR. Fear of being misinterpreted, unbelief, and doubt itself. At the same time, a commonality was the fact that they kept moving...and they did it SCARED! God asked them to believe the impossible! He gave them an instruction and then more along the way (As our beloved Pastor would say).
This reminds me of my school days. The teacher announces at the beginning of the year that a paper will be due at the end of 1st semester...just to get you thinking about it. Throughout the semester, there are assignments required and due that will be incorporated into the the final paper - which consistently keeps the assignment in the forefront of your mind. At the end, all the work done along the way is pulled together into a term paper.
Another example is signing up for swimming lessons. When you sign up, you don't know how to swim. But along the way, you receive instructions and the concept becomes clearer and clearer.
If you can see examples of "getting more along the way" after making a decision to start something new in the natural, how much more will God give you in the supernatural.
This is an encouragement to me and Father, I just want to say,
"Thank You Lord"!
