Actually, I did not allow them to stay and I refused to think on them. What I did meditate on, however, was why my thoughts were so negative. What changed? What package had I signed for that did not belong to me? Once considering it further, I figured out that it was two texts that I received from someone who meant well - but was wrong. When you can encourage someone - their encouragements are meant to speak life. Whatever you feel God has shown you, is not always meant to be shared. PRAY!!! Ask God what He would have you to do with the information - do not automatically assume that it is for you to share. This person assumed that since God showed it to her, it was up to her to reveal it to me...to be the middle man/Holy Spirit in a sense. Yet, what she shared could not have been any further from the truth, though she meant well. Looking back, I do have to commend her for stepping out on faith and releasing the information. Too many times God may actually share something with someone who IS supposed to pass it along but is too hesitant to do so.
Now, almost a year later, the messages from this individual make sense:
"Just a friendly reminder, as you're working with aggressive believer/unbeliever, I encourage you to
remain humble, pray, and let God do what He does best! BTW - it's okay to be the bigger person and
apologize. Love you!"
Another text came the following day that stated:
"Some people are not interested in seeing you from
God's view. They're only interested in seeing you
from their [own] view. So let God shine thru you and let Him reveal the real you!"
Again, at the time, I was not sure what these texts meant or even if they were meant for me initially. I looked at them from a negative mindset. But now, after reading them again, I can see through more God uncensored glasses. To reiterate, she meant well, but t is up to me as to what I do with the "package".
